Also, it affects the composer’s expression about the rhythm and melody of interaction from the composers, performers, and audiences’ interaction. Timothy M. Walker (2004) has opinions about “what is the articulation” that is from melody, rhythm, harmony and tone color, so he defines articulation in three points: (a) performance instrument, (b) expressional types, (c) beat location. The purpose of this study is to discusses some of the influences of Alexander Scriabin 24 piano preludes, Op. 11, and Frédéric Chopin’s Preludes, Op. 28, by looking at their personal backgrounds, comparing how each composer uses the language of rhythm, and melody. Using the idea and method of the interpretive research to discover the sound-colors, atmosphere, and mobility of music in the twenty-four preludes, Op. 11 by Alexander Scriabin. In addition, this study will explore some creative ideals of multiple relationship between the twenty-four preludes, Op. 11 by Alexander Scriabin and Frédéric Chopin’s Preludes, Op. 28. The result of this study will help the piano performer learn how to express emotions and analyze motivation of theory. Hua-Hui Tseng 曾華惠 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 80 zh-TW
