Another important topic in technology is the efficient utilization of spectrum. OFDM is a popular solution for those purposes, and WiMAX is a system based on OFDM. The situation is that OFDM system suffers from an intrinsic high out-of-band power emission. There are several research teams that dedicated their efforts to the reduction of out-of-band power emission in recent years and getting some fruitful results. In this thesis, we try to identify the performance of these approaches of out-of-band power emission over the Rayleigh fading with AWGN. Firstly, we use the signal under the reduction process of out-of-band power emission. Secondly, we pass the signal through a simulated channel of Rayleigh fading with AWGN.
