Summary: | 碩士 === 大同大學 === 電機工程學系(所) === 98 === This thesis proposes a bidirectional converter applied in electric bike for motor driving and battery management. The main circuit structure of the proposed bidirectional converter is a cascade buck-boost topology, which not only provides power for driving BLDC motor, but also recycle the energy regenerated from BLDC motor to charge battery. Moreover, the motor driver is consisted of a 3-phase-6-step inverter, which is used to control the speed of the BLDC motor by the pulse width modulation (PWM) technique. Besides, the proposed converter can also serve as a charger with the constant-current-constant-voltage (CC-CV) method to charge lead-acid batteries. In the last duration of the charging process, a bidirectional balancing control will be used to equalize the series batteries to avoid the imbalance phenomenon. In experimentation, the DSP chip TMS320F2812 is adopted as a control core to integrate and link up the related circuits with normal operation to achieve motor drive and battery management. In this thesis, the complete principles of electric bike system and design consideration are detailed, and all the experimental results are used to demonstrate the feasibility.
