Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 運動教育研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to apply Creative Problem-Solving Model to swimming teaching in order to investigate creative and critical thinking abilities of military students. This author took a sample of twenty-five students from a military academy in the northern part of Taiwan, and taught them via an pre-experimental swimming teaching designed according to the model for ten weeks, two hours per week. Meanwhile, the students were examined by New Creative Thinking Test, Critical Thinking Test II, and Swimming Test before and after the teachcing, and then the data were analyzed with One-way Analysis of Repeated Measures and Pearson’s r to explore correlations between variations with α=.05. The results show that there is a significant correlation between the model adopted in the swimming teaching and creative thinking abilities, fluency, flexibility, and originality of the students. However, there is a negative correlation between the model and critical thinking abilities, assumptions identification, induction, deduction, interpretation, and argument evaluation of the students. Likewise, there is no strong correlation between creative thinking abilities and critical thinking abilities. Finally, the score of 25-meter Free Style Test after the teaching is higher than that before the teaching.
