Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 美術創作碩士班水墨組 === 98 === This landscape discourse begins with my concept of creation. By learning different kinds of theories like philosophy of life, aesthetics, and theories of Chinese painting and calligraphy, which have been passed down for centuries, we can create our own insight of composition. It includes perspective of life, world view, and aesthetic pattern of Chinese painting. This article generally talks about the interaction between human and nature, and illustrates that my inspiration was come from nature experience and the familiarity of history. These are the foundation of my paintings. Second, we analyze the inner thoughts and outer extensions of ink landscape paintings, focusing on what function the author give to works when creating. It could be a personal, confidential way of expressing one’s sexual passion, or a secret connection between author and viewers. By analyzing the painting techniques and the difference of the purpose of the works, we can profit by and it and find the language of drawing of our own. The final part is analysis of my works which focus on the material, technique, the way of express…and so on. Comparing to my former experience of learning, the article not only clarifies the history of my creation, but also tries to identify the special features of my works. This article also notes my thoughts and learning state at present as a milestone on my journey of creation.
