碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 民族音樂學研究所 === 98 === Abstract The essay mainly discusses the influences from social and religious changes to Paiwan Tribe wedding ceremony and songs. First of all, we shall generally expound the relative relationship, concepts of tribe and family of Paiwan Tribe to understand its social structure concepts and the marriage system and the relationship between them (marriage system and social structure). Secondly, we will discuss from the aspects of foreign regime invasion, social structure changes, the introduction of Christian, and traditional religion transitions. Thirdly, we not only separately introduce the traditional Paiwan Tribe wedding ceremony, songs & Western Christian wedding ceremony and music, but also the influence of Christian religion to Paiwan Tribe wedding ceremony, music, and wedding functions. Last, along with the society changes, traditional wedding cultures and songs inheritances are getting risking, and might get lost.
