碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 98 === I am used to think in the way of taking a step at a time. In this way, I can construct each stage gradually during the creation of the objects. This is like the way of tracing back in one's memory which is surrounded by everything of one's daily and the cycles of causes & effects stacking on each other. If we see the procedure of constructing something as a necessary process, then "memory" would be the blueprint on the aspect of building one's life. What lies behind one's memory is either the sorrow or joy of a certain event. Every individual would apply different method to face his/her own memory, and so is their definition of the pieces in the memory. I view memory as a recording method of achievement in my life. During the construction process of a long-term work , my memory grows with the experience of my body. I shape the memory of the object and that of my life at the same time. At the moment when the work is done, the same record is the look of my life at the very same moment. This article takes first-person narrator angle to recall and illustrate the process of creating the pieces of the works induced by the experience of my being during the years in the graduate school section by section. Then, with the explanations of the works, I express my own opinions on the feelings in the past and the thoughts during my creating process.
