Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 98 === I am a girl in a game, always playing games in life, dreaming in games, creating art whilst playing. Home is my work studio, a place where I can get my hands on all kinds of different materials whenever I want. I like to speak through different materials, to transform ready-made objects, infusing them with new interpretations and imaginings. I strive to take new and fresh materials that people find surprising from the landscape of an extremely ordinary life. This paper discusses my own influence between life games and creative work. I find creative elements through games derived from life experience. The content of my thesis is detailed below: Chapter One: Playing games in life: The narrator’s inner space – an analysis of a series of works from the perspective of physical games, room games and games in dreams. Chapter Two: Playing games in Nature: The narrator’s outer space –an analysis of a series of works from the perspective of dress-up games and broadcasting games. Chapter Three: Playing games with materials: Recording and in depth discussion on the language of games in materials, shapes, colors and techniques. Chapter Four: Playing games in books: A discussion on well known artists, exploring contrasts with my own works.
