Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 數學資訊教育學系數學資訊教育教學碩士學位班 === 98 === The major purpose of this study is to develop a web-based classroom management system ( WCMS for short ) and apply it on the classroom management for one class of 5th grade in Taipei county. Based on concepts of virtual bank, digital credit points in the internet, the WCMS can be used for storing the credit points according to the learner’s behavior and performance. Every learner has one digital passbook in the virtual bank, and they were stimulated to have better behaviors for attaining more digital credit points. The learners can use their points for acquiring concrete prizes from internet auction in WCMS. The system was evaluated by experts. After nine-month experiment, the learners gave high positive appraisal toward the
system and their behaviors performed better than before.
The result is that the effiect of class management including "learning effect", "behavior management", "interpersonal management" and "class atmosphere" are siginificantly improved in the experiemental group. The effect of "Communication between parents and teachers" is siginificantly enhanced in the experiemental group.
Also, the all effect of classroom management are better than those of control group.Through interviews with teachers, the passbook in WCMS can allow the teachers group the students’ performance faster than before, and by the virtual money in the system makes. the bad-behavior students perform better than before.
Therefore, "the development of Web-based Classroom Management model reward cards system" is effective on improving the effectiveness of classroom management. Finally, this study offers some suggestions for classroom management
and related future research from the results of this study.
