Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 心理與諮商學系碩士班 === 98 === In extending the SCCT choice model, this study examed the influence of gender, socio-economic status, part-time job experience, acquirement of professional certificates and the SCCT variables of learning experience, career self-efficacy and goals on career readiness of college students. The subjects were drawn from the Taiwan Integrated Postsecondary Education Database (TIPED), and there were 13737 Taiwanese college students from 128 universities analyzed in this study. The results indicated that learning experience had a positive effect on career self-efficacy, and career self-efficacy had a positive effect on college students’ career readiness. Moreover, career self-efficacy was the mediator between learning experience and career readiness. Career self-efficacy was significantly associated with gender, socio-economic status, part-time job experience, acquirement of certificates and learning experience. And career readiness was significantly associated with gender, acquirement of certificates, learning experience and career self-efficacy. Implications for parents, teachers as well as recommendations for future research directions were provided.
