Ten insecticides, 0.1% propoxur, 0.1% bendiocarb, 1.0% fenitrotion, 5.0% malathion, 0.15% cyfluthrin, 0.05% deltametrin, 0.50% etofenprox 0.75% permethrin, 0.05%cyhalothrin, 4.0%DDT were tested in 2008 and 2009. The propoxur resistant in the Cianjin and Cianjhen cohorts of Aedes aegypti were found in June, 2008 and October, 2009 respectively. The bendiocarb resistant in the Nanzih and South Tainan cohorts of Aedes aegypti were found in June, 2008 but not in 2009. There were no cohorts of Aedes aegypti developed insecticide resistance to fenitrothion. The cyfluthrin resistant in the Hsingsin cohorts of Aedes aegypti were found in April, 2009. The deltamethrin resistant in the Cianjin and Samming cohorts of Aedes aegypti were found in June, 2008 and October, 2009 respectively. All the cohorts tested in this study showed high resistant to etofenprox. Most of tested cohorts of Aedes aegypti showed the resistant to permethrin. The cyhalothrin resistant in the Cianhhen, Nanzih, Hsingsin and Samming cohorts of Aedes aegypti were found in June, 2009. DDT also showed the high resistant potency in most cohorts of Aedes aegypti.
