In Taiwan have about 1.5 million people who are plagued by asthma every year. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates asthma people have been increasing over the past decades. In recent years, chronic lower respiratory diseases including bronchial asthma has become one of the top ten causes of death in Taiwan, it makes the government and people having begun to attach the relative issue. To reduce the prevalence of asthma, it is necessary to actively promote health education and knowledge of correct drug use. The Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) have recommended guidelines for asthma diagnosis and patient management. In this study, we designed an bronchial asthma control system. The user can use smart phone to calculate and record their lung capacity value, by the regularly records, when users are not able to use computer, they can view their lung capacity records and trend by the smart phone, and the system program will automatically give the users suggest , check user''s lung capacity in the stability. Additionally, we according to GINA organizations and Taiwan Association of Asthma Education to develop standards and build ACT assessment of asthma and allergic indicators in smart phone, users can receive daily outdoor asthma induced factor information and warning before the bronchial asthma attack, so that it can reduce the bronchial asthma symtoms caused by environmental factors. In the system evaluation, we survey acceptance of 30 users on our system, 83% of the users are willing to use this system, 63% of users willing to pay to use the system, 80% of users think that the development of technology software can help people control their disease. The application for smart phone in asthma control have very high in uses acceptance. The use of mobile technology can effectively manage user''s personal health, our study developed an asthma control system, users can more understanding of record value and the meaning of the various indicators.
