Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 教育政策與領導研究所碩士在職專班 === 98 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between elementary school directors’ conflict management tactics and administrators’ team effectiveness in Taipei County. This study was conducted through questionnaires. The sample consists of 428 elementary school section chiefs in Taipei County.
The results of this study are as follow:
1.Most of the section chiefs reported that the directors used a high level of cooperation conflict management tactics.
2.Most of the section chiefs perceived a high level of administrators’ team effectiveness.
3.There were significant differences in section chiefs’ perceptions of directors’ conflict management tactics based on gender, school location and school size.
4.There were significant differences in administrators’ team effectiveness based on their administrative experience.
5.Elementary school directors’ conflict management tactics was significantly related to administrators’ team effectiveness.
6.Elementary school directors’ conflict management tactics was a strong predictor of administrators’ team effectiveness.
Finally, suggestions based on the above research findings were presented for educational administration authorities, school principals, directors, and the future studies.
