Therefore, in the society that population rapidly aging, for the long-term care industry, is there have sufficient manpower to cope with population at demand, which is the problem that the long-term care service industry in Taiwan must to face and solve. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of working conditions of nurse aides to their work motivation, and which factors have reduced the work motivation and the work attractive of nurse aides.In this study, two different methods have been used that including 「deep interview」and 「focused interview」. In order to understanding their working conditions influence on their work motivation, this study interviewed with 12 nurse aides. According to interviews, discover (A)under the premise that is economic downturn, the salary level of nurse aides will not improve their turnover intention, because they would like to have a permanent job and salary income. (B)working hours will easily affect their lifestyle, physical and mental condition and then cause burnout. (C)nurse aides are hard to get along with the family members of caregiver-care receiver, because the family members of caregiver-care receiver have low confidence and not trust the professional of nurse aides. (D)family status will effect nurse aides work motivation and then cause nurse aides who are mostly middle-aged person. (E)contingency likely to cause pressure on nurse aides. Those five conclusions, all will affect work motivation of nurse aides. The reason reducing work motivation of nurse aides is definitely be single factors. Mostly is because the working conditions of nurse aides still lower then other jobs, and plus the extrinsic factors such as interpersonal relationships and family status which makes the trend that attractiveness of nurse aides being reduce and increase the turnover of nurse aides.
