Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 企業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 98 === Abstract: Stress is always seen as a negative influence; intensive stress can lead to abnormality in psychological and physiological function, but appropriate stress could stimulate individual potential. Working stress of video journalists comes from many sources: Equipment progress, physical strength, extended working times, family factors, lack of improvement and accomplishment, risk of lay off, and even atmospheres of an organization. This research focuses on the relations between “ working stress of video journalists” and their “commitment to organizational commitment.” It also studies how the individual differences of the sources influence this relationship. This research is based on 242 effective response samples from 317 questionnaires filled by video journalists. Based on these responses, several quantitative analytical methods are used including descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Major findings are listed as follows: 1.The individual factors(such as age, gender, and educational level)play a significant influence on the strength of working stress. 2.The individual factors(such as age, gender, and educational level)play a significant influence on the commitment of organization. 3.The strength of working stress significantly influences the commitment to an organization.
