To found the optimal conditions for production of tyrosinase inhibitor were investigated. Burkholderia cepacia TKU026 was isolated from the soil in northern of Taiwan. The optimum culture condition for tyrosinase inhibitory production were found when the culture was shaken at 37℃ for 3 days in 50 mL and 100 mL medium containing 0.1% K2HPO4, 0.05% MgSO4.7H2O and 1% squid pen powder.
