In this paper proposed two kind of miniaturized antenna, the DTV and 3G mobile phone antenna respectively. A printed chip type antenna using spiral monopole slot structures on system ground for DTV signal reception in the UHF band is proposed in this paper. By utilizing the eight quarter-wavelength of spiral slot likes a radiator in configuration. In this case, the occupied area of the monopole slot chip antenna on the system circuit board can be further reduced. Antenna has a compact size of 20×20×0.8mm3. The proposed PIFA has a simple structure of comprising λ/4 radiating strips of length about at 900 to cover the GSM850/GSM900 bands and using a interdigital capacitor coupling feed. The two radiating strips also generate two higher-order modes or λ/4 modes at about 2100 MHz to form a wide upper band for GSM1800/1900/DCS/PCS/UMTS bands and the 2.4-GHz WLAN (IEEE 802.11b) band operation.
