Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電機工程系研究所 === 98 === Over past several years, transmit diversity has been studied extensively to provide error performance for wireless systems. A novel technique for constructing multilevel space-time code is proposed. For a given orthogonal space-time block code, several component codes are combined in conjunction with set partitioning of the multidimensional signal constellation according to the coding gain distance criterion. Then, the associated scheme is further concatenated with an outer Reed-Solomon code. Simulation results show that the concatenated scheme can achieve excellent error performance with low decoding complexity.
