Enterprises are improving their internal efficiency and using the collaboration management on the operations such as designing, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and marketing, etc. By integrating the resources of the supply chain, to achieve the purposes of large-scale production, lower costs and improve their competitiveness.
The development of commercial plane in Taiwan’s aerospace industry still remained in OEM stage, and is suffered the severe challenge by the new competitor in the world. The aerospace industry is expected much in large investment and high technology, Such as the famous aerospace companies in the world always dependent on support and assistance by the government. This research regards a government owned enterprise as a case study, explore the process and benefit by implement the collaboration manufacturing system. And how by way of coordination and cooperation to apply the system into their supply chain, to make the small scale supplier who is not ready for material requirement system can get the resource of management from the center factory via Internet network with no charge. To enhance the clustering advantage of the precision machinery technology and reach higher competitiveness for making more profit in Taiwan’s aerospace industry.
This research uses the in-depth case study by the method of adopts enterprise's essential analytic approach, through carrying on in-depth interview to the staffs of the enterprise. Exploring the critical success factors on implement of collaborative manufacturing system.
