Description
Summary:碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 光電與通訊學系碩士班 === 98 === From year 2001 to 2010, the number of children with special needs has increased from 34,914 to 39,182, showing the fact that education and learning issue for children with special needs have received significant attention. Along with gradual increase of children with special needs annually, the diversification among levels of school functions and the improvement of educational tools as well as auxiliary tools of education have become an issue that no one can easily neglect. The secularization of concept and enhancement of belief for special education have turned our approach that we have to make effort to in days to come. Home-class tutor would like to carry out tracking and observation on children with special needs under care, so that when any special incident occurs they can reduce time to find out the location of children with special needs under care, and learning activity with the campus can be proceeded normally. This thesis would primarily explore the application of 802.11 (Wi-Fi) short-distance wireless communication technologies with campus care, and further investigate how teachers can accurately master the whereabouts of children with special needs in the campus. As such, these children won’t have to be confined of their learning environment, and can obtain greater space of activity. With the use of wireless communication technology, a set of campus care positing system can be established using identification and positioning function of Wi-Fi. The system can help to appreciate the current position, path previously treaded by, and duration of lingering among children with special under care. As AP is being employed to establish wireless environment, it has rendered the wireless environment free from any blind-spot, and there is no needed for concern that wireless signals can not be properly transmitted and received. Given with such environment of campus care, the whereabouts and tracking of children with special needs can be always mastered, helping to lower the occurrence rate of campus accident.
