Summary: | 碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 生物資訊學系碩士在職專班 === 98 === The aim of this study is to probe the learning efficiency of using website teaching as a supplemental teaching tool to the children in learning about insects. The main purposes of this study are:
1.To explore the differences on the learning achievement of children under the different teaching strategies.
2.To explore the differences of students’ attitudes and views under different teaching strategies.
The subject students were divided into two groups. The control group was taught by using general teaching materials and methods, while the
experimental group was taught with the web-based instruction and the traditional teaching methods and materials. After the teachings were completed, the students then were tested. The testing results and other data were collected for further comparison and analysis.
In addition, in order to realize the students’ attitudes and views on integrating the website resources into instruction in the experimental group. The questionnaire on the Learning Attitudes toward Web-based instruction was given to the students in the experimental group. The results obatined from the questionnaire were collected for statistical analysis.
Based on the statistical results from the study, we can obtain the following conclusions:
1.The result shows that the score of the learning achievement test of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group, and the difference shows a statistically significant result.
2.From the attitude questionnaire, it shows that the students in the experimental group felt that they were helped by the web-based instruction in learning insects. From the survey, most students are satisfied with their learning results using Websites, and wish the teacher to increase website teaching and learning, and hope that the teacher would expand website teaching to other subjects.
Finally, this study presents some suggestions that can provide for the education experts to do further investigation on the web-based instruction.
