Summary:碩士 === 慈濟大學 === 教育研究所 === 98 === The purpose of the study was to explore achievement motivation, emotional intelligence, and job satisfaction of the Junior High School teachers in the Hualien County. The instruments used in the study included achievement motivation questionnaire, emotional intelligence questionnaire, and job satisfaction questionnaire. The data was analyzed by the statistics methods of t-test, one-way ANOVA, Canonical correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The major findings were as follows: 1. The achievement motivation of teachers were in normal condition as a whole. They tend to “work orientation”. 2. The emotional intelligence of teachers were in good condition as a whole. The most ability is “self emotional appraisal”. 3. The job satisfaction of teachers were in normal condition as a whole. The most satisfaction is “work environment and personal relationship”. The least satisfaction is “nature of the work, salary and fringe benefits, promotion scheme”. 4. There were significant differences existed among the variables of gender and duty on the achievement motivation of teachers. There were no significant differences existed among gender, service year, duty and school size and location on teachers’ emotional intelligence and job satisfaction. 5. There were significant differences existed among the variables of gender on nature of the work, work environment, personal relationship. There were significant differences existed among the variables of duty on personal relationship and administrative leadership. 6. There were positive correlation and significant level between teachers’ achievement motivation and job satisfaction. There were also positive correlation and significant level between teachers’ emotional intelligence and job satisfaction. 7. The achievement motivation of teachers could significant predict the job satisfaction, but the variables of gender, service year, duty and school size and location of teachers and emotional intelligence couldn’t significant predict the job satisfaction. According to research conclusions, this study provided some suggestions for school administration, teachers charged with administrative task, and future researchers.
