It endeavored on the understanding of online learning system and makes it more user-friendly and goes rationale with learning theory to enhance the learning effectiveness of online learning. Online learners may be active or passive ones. Many factors affect user intention of online learning. So the study tried to reveal the relevant factors of user online learning intention and to establish online learning critical path models. This is a confirmatory study. Confirmatory research is researchers or research questions has been done to explore the theoretical basis of research literature is rich in hypotheses and the know how to test assumptions; the general thesis is this type of research. The questionnaires were developed accordingly through the conclusion of literatures review. The study focused on students in Information Management Department of Southern Taiwan University of Technology as target population. The target population number is 574, includes four year technical students first grade, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade, master program first grade, and the second grade. While pretesting, the study sampling 45 persons and gets effective sample -- 36 persons in the Southern Taiwan University of Technology Information Management Department. The study questionnaires were developed based on “the Information Management Major students’ attitudes toward online learning”, the contents of questionnaires which were done through review of relevant research, and had been verified through statistical processes. It’s divided into three parts: including basic information, user online learning intent, and the theory of planned behavior. The study applied Likert 5 points scale and Cronbach α values to examine the questionnaire. The items analysis tested the internal consistency and removes the low reliability question items, as the basis for the development of a formal questionnaire. After finishing the pre-test questionnaire, on the latent variable analysis of internal consistency, Cronbach α coefficient was found above suggested values 0.7; and the questionnaire through a slight text modification accordingly to experts’ suggestion. Official questionnaires for this study were finalized. The total scale pre-test results of Cronbach α coefficient value is 0.977, user online learning intention and user behavior these two sub-scale its Cronbach α coefficient also reaches 0.977.
