However, latest technical articles or manuals are mainly presented in English, and these contents of material are with many specialized words and phrases so that readers find them very hard to understand. Currently, English electric dictionaries can not translate specialized vocabularies. There are a variety of English learning systems in the Internet, yet English specialized vocabularies are seldom concerned within those systems. Words often have multiple meanings when used in between general and specialized fields. Take the word “cookie” for example. Cookie mainly means a sweet biscuit, while it has different meaning of a piece of information stored on the computer in network computing. Also, a large amount of specialized words and phrases only appear in specific field of articles. When reading those words and phrases, readers need to spend a lot of time looking up online dictionary or search for other related articles. The purpose of the study is to set up a digital learning platform of technological English to increase learners’ vocabulary. The platform collects a majority of technical vocabulary. By using the platform, learners can do a search on the words or phrases they need, and further study specialized English in a very short time. We analyzed the data collected from the platform and find whether students progress in their learning after using the platform. By doing so we improved the functions of the platform.
