Summary: | 碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 企業管理系 === 98 === In recent years, public consciousness of health is raising around Taiwan. Deeply concern of the condition for health promotion, CAM (complementary and alternative medicine) becomes more and more important during the tendency. On this purpose, the research aimed to explore the correlation between HA (Health Anxiety) and HPL (Health-Promoting Lifestyle) with the behavior of CAM (complementary and alternative medicine).
After analysis to the 240 effective ones by the simple random samples from 300 respondents, concluding 5 findings as below: 1. Awareness of the UI (Uncertainty in Illness) is positively significant correlated with HA; 2. Demographic variables as E/HR (Exercise/Health Responsibility), IS (Interpersonal Support) and SA (Self-Actualization) of HPL are significant correlated with HA positively; 3. Accompany with increased HA, differences between sexuality, age and individual income with HPL are significant; 4. Private HPL (such as E/HR, Nutrition/Sleep, SA and IS) is positively significant correlated with CAM. For E/HR involves in SV (Sense of Value), LE (Level of Experiencing) and ID (Information Disseminating) with CAM positively. N/S (Nutrition/Sleep) involves in LE and ID with CAM positively. IS involves in SV and LE with CAM positively. Then SA involves in LE, ID and PU (Practical Utility) with CAM positively; 5. Environmental UI reduces the LE with CAM, the uncertainty of complicated medicine extending the SV with CAM by the degree of ID.
As a result, empirical study of HPL with CAM provides a helpful reference to the medical industry and the managers to setup a competitive target and strategy of marketing.
