In order to keep competitive advantages and meet customer needs, enterprises must devote efforts to raise the yield rate of production and product quality. Hence, this research provides an implementation procedure of six standard deviation using processes of DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control) to verify feasibility of the implementation procedure of six standard deviation for LED front-end chip process to raise the yield rate of production and product quality. The experiment is carried out for a company in Southern Taiwan Science Park. The result shows that provided procedure of six sigma can help the company to raise yield rate of production and product quality for LED front-end chip process.
