Pricing, techniques, and all the key factors are still on the race. But, those are not enough for such brutal and breathless climate. Another factor participates on the race as it has been one of the most important factors in the organizations: Knowledge. And this leads to an issue of knowledge sharing. This study explores knowledge sharing in the Vietnamese organizations context and examines the impact of the internal and external factors on knowledge sharing behavior. The research is based on the Theory of Reasoned Action (Ajzen and Fishbein, 1975 & 1980). The external factors include Extrinsic Rewards and Social Trust; the internal factors insist of Sense of Self-worth and Expected Associations. The study also examines the roles of Subjective Norm of Knowledge sharing as another external factor which directly influences the Intention to Share. The hypotheses were validated empirically using the data collected from 124 employees from several companies located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Just like many studies, the study has found that the extrinsic rewards absolutely do not have any influences on the attitude toward knowledge sharing behavior. Another factor, the expected associations are the same. For the Social Trust and Sense of self-worth, there have been positive influences on the attitude toward knowledge sharing behavior. We also hope that this study will help the organizations where Vietnamese employees working have the ideas about knowledge sharing. Pointing out the factors responding to the two kinds of stimuli of external one and internal one helps the companies to have appropriate modifications in their policies to build up a good environment for knowledge flowing. 唐國銘 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 71 en_US |
