Moreover, the researcher also studied the intermediary effects made by work morale on both psychological contract satisfaction and job performance. The researcher applied surveys and dyadic approach to collect data and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to validate the psychometric properties of measures. Subjects are the 328 financial consultants from one of the local commercial banks. The study results show that psychological contract fulfillment is capable of enhancing both of the financial consultants’ work morale and their job performance. Furthermore, work morale can also improve financial consultants’ job performance. In conclusion, work morale does not have any intermediary effects on both psychological contract fulfillment and job performance. This study is particularly constructive to social exchange theory. To financial institutions, the study results also show them reminders about the implementation of both substantive and psychological commitments for their employees. Companies should pay attention to the employees’ psychological fit to the institution as well as their inner expectations.
