The value chain of the traditional printing industry has been changed. In the recent years, the Internet technology from the original Web 1.0 towards Web 2.0, the Combined printing expands the business virtually and physically. From our survey, the Combined printers used the network platform to provide the convenient service to customers. But they also face the tremendous pressure of competition in the related printers, such as price cutting. There is a strong need to investigate the current business strategies to improve the future developmental directions. The biggest five web-combined printers were the major study candidates. The theories of Michael E. Porter’s “Five Strategic Forces” and "Wheel of Competition Policy" were conducted in our study as the basic analysis tools to understand the external and internal printing environment. The indepth interview of the qualitative research method was used to gain the first-hand information with interviewing the higher level managers to analyze and provide the possible solutions for the difficulties and problems, developmental directions, and business strategies. Our research findings showed that the transition of the global digitalization forced printing industry heading to the communication service gradually. The owners of the Combined printers do have different types of business strategies for their business. In addition, the problems and difficulties they need to face are: cheaper price, lack of the planning capacity in the global business strategies, lack of professional customer service skills, and the government lacks of printing industry’s policy-related concepts. The study is trying to provide the recommendations of the feasible business strategies to the Combined printers and promoting the global markets to accomplish the statement of purposes.
