It is also considerd as one of the ten important technologies in the century. With retrieving a number of information at the same time and without physical contact, so it can achieve characteristics like recognition and data gathering. Therefore, many businesses have adopted the technology to cut down the fastidious management on flow and time, and thus it can conduct various operation processes and more efficiency.
This thesis focuses on one case which is large-scale and home-style renovation in Taiwan. Using InSync Edgeware software to simulate the inventory operation and combine with RFID technology. The company provides ten thousands kind of commodities. If we can more control and manage on each commodity, it will be an outstanding of advantage on time and cost for compancy. With improving on work-in-process flow management on inventory operation has become a critical premise of the study.
Therefore, the study’s primary objective lies in applying RFID technology in the inventory operation in the large-scale and home-style renovation industry. Through comparing with operating process about efficiency of time between bar code-based and RFID, it can propose a feasible implementing framework which can be introduced.
