PLA's N.D.S system, which is the strategic project plan, expand channels for part of the personnel training, in 1998, China's Peking University, Tsinghua University, two universities, began to N.D.S system in pilot operation, 2000 on May 30, China's State Council, Central Military Commission jointly promulgated the "establishment of relying on general higher education to train military cadres decision" officially launched N.D.S system, The first year of university enrollment N.D.S include 8, recruitment of N.D.S nearly 300, after the implementation date of 10 years, signed between China and the armed forces to train national defense students in local universities has reached 117, NDS in the number of schools reached 4.8 million, nearly 4 million people have graduated from NDS, to show China's N.D.S system attention. This thesis examines China's N.D.S system, the current status and future developments and their impact, and through the study of China's N.D.S system, to ROTC system analysis, compared to streamlining ROTC system.
