碩士 === 東吳大學 === 法律學系 === 98 === Due to some risks resulting from the implementation of genetic technology and irreversible outcomes thereof, it is important to establish norms in order for managing the GMOs appropriately. In this connection, the prevailing acts and regulations with respect to the GMOs from some countries and international organizations and certain reports made by the Panel and Appellate Body in the WTO regime would be useful for Taiwan competent authorities to form the GMOs-related policies and acts. For this objective, while constructing a friendly environment for the development of biotechnology, this study is also conducted with an attempt to protect the rights of the customers.
