Therefore, this study of LARP at SCU (Language Acquisition Research Project at Soochow University: Japanese Language and Literature, Soochow University student database) analyzes the usage of conjunctions through composition materials written by Japanese learners accumulated within three and 1/2 years and tries to find the difficulties in the acquisition process of conjunctions. This thesis is divided into seven chapters. Chapter 1 is the preface, which describes the motivation and purpose, as well as the methods and subjects of this study. Chapter 2 is prior research, which establishes the basis of this study through Japanese linguistics and the definition and classification of conjunctions within the field of acquisition. Chapter 3 is the outline, which details the research subjects and procedures selected in this study. Chapter 4 is the results and examination, which shows the acquisition process and characteristics of the learners chosen for this study, as well as a comprehensive comparison and contrast at the end of this chapter. Chapter 5 is the order in which the conjunctions were presented in the textbook. This chapter examines the order in which conjunctions are taught in Japanese textbooks and compares the results to the learners’ acquisition process in order to understand the influence it has on the acquisition process of conjunctions. Chapter 6 is the conclusion, submission of future research directions and issues, as well as attempting to submit recommendations for the future education of Japanese conjunctions. I hope this research can bring about a slight contribution to Japanese language education. none 陳淑娟 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 146
