碩士 === 實踐大學 === 時尚與媒體設計研究所 === 98 === The theme of this project is dream. By collecting references encompassing the psychological and the artistic spiritual aspects, this project attempts to explore the ambiguity between reality and fantasy of dreams, and also the vagueness between the preservation and regeneration of memories. From this, a series of experimental works in the form of videos, photography, writing and clothing design was developed, and the experiences and concepts therein was extrapolated to produce the final product. By using molding techniques employing different materials and methods, the body was repeatedly shaped and regenerated. The fragmented body parts contain the memories on the lines and objects of clothes attached. The body is real whereas the clothes are imaginary, but sometimes both seem to enter a partnership, creating a grey area whereby reality and imagination co-exist. By rearranging and regenerating the memory fragments, further compression and deformation, these pieces form clues that seem familiar but yet foreign. An imaginary space filled with uncertainty became derived, and morphed to a tired skin that was left behind after breathing.
