Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 資訊傳播研究所 === 98 === Weblog, shortened as Blog, has become the most popular “personal publishing method” for Internet users, because of its simplicity. It allows all users, who were information consumers, to move to as information producers. The amount of blogs dramatically increases also results in the information explosively growing. Thus, finding proper information is harder than usual. To get into information, search engines are developed. However, there are many different kinds of information resources. Some information has wide usage; but others might profound knowledge. It is unrealistic to expect using one single search engine to find all information from different resources. To improve the accuracy of the search result, professional search tools provide other options. This study believes searching certain information types can be optimized by using different search engines, for instances, search engine (as Google), blog search (as Google Blog Search), and a single blog inside search (as Wrech). Therefore, we classified the information into several catalogs to find which methods fit the catalogs better. In this research, quantification and experimental research methods are used. The result shows users do have certain preferences for utilities chosen and information usage, when they are searching for some types of information.
