Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 體育學系運動教練碩博士班 === 98 === This study utilizes the qualitative research technique to present an in-depth discussion on the operations of the Integration Sports Company Limited. The promotion and expansion of sports are closely linked to business managements. In other countries, the managing system for sports and the participants has been thoroughly developed. It allows the athletes to focus on their trainings instead of worrying about financial problems. Integration Sports Company Limited is a management enterprise for tennis. In the promotion of tennis and cultivations of talents, The company has hosted numerous international professional tournaments, established training programs for athletes, and also has built many sports centers. Other services include providing sport agents, creating tennis clubs, fostering young talents, harboring professional players, managing international matches, and holding various national competitions. In a comprehensive interview with the CEO of Integration Sports, the company aims, future directions, current managements of sports, availability of sponsors, and related topics were carefully analyzed and considered. After discussing with the prospect of professional coaches, progression of tennis, and the problems currently faced by participants, may it be the players, coaches, or sports managers. It was concluded that the major obstacles standing in the promotion of tennis as a national sport are the lack of established facilities and media exposures. A well-building system positively affects this sport on all levels while increased media exposure will most likely catch the attention of sponsors. With a strong managing system, athletes may concentrate on maximizing their skills on the courts. Although sporting management is a novel enterprise in Taiwan, continuous adjusting of culture and customs may, in time, bring beneficial advancements.
