Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 心理輔導研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this study was to explore the correlation among the parenting style, perfectionism and mental health of universitiy students by questionnaire survey. The measurements applied in this study included the Parenting Style Scale, the Perfectionism Scale and the Mental Health Scale for Undergraduate-Screening Assessment(MHSU-SA). The participantst in this study included the universitiy students in Taipei City, and there were 819 effective questionnaires. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Structural Equation Modeling. The findings of this study were as followings: 1.Most of the parents used the negelect and authoritative parenting style with their children, as in origin aspect of parenting style, the demanding was higher than the responding. 2.Universitiy students’ perfectionism are normal to lower tendency, and they describe a normal toward excellent degree of mental health. 3.The genders of subjects showed significant differences in self-demanded perfectionism. 4.Universitiy students of different academy didn’t show any significant differences in perfectionism. 5.Different parenting style were statistically significant in perfectionism.The “authoritative” is higher than other styles in self-demanded perfectionism, and the “authoritarian” is higher than “negelect” in others-expected perfectionism. 6.Parenting style(demanding) has positive impact on perfectionism and mental health among university students. Perfectionism also has positive impact on mental health, and perfectionism is a mediator between demanding and mental health. According to the findings above, this study provided some suggestions to teachers, counselors, and parents and the future researchers.
