Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 建築及都市計畫研究所 === 98 === Building retrofitting activities had been increased sharply over the past decade on the Di-Hwa Street of Taipei city, and there are 128 buildings had been done. The structure of the buildings could have been changed after retrofitting, and the retrofitting might be causing the buildings nearby to be damaged and collapsed. The government has taken measures to restrain the high monuments and historic buildings which made the story level and house number decrease or increase, and it will effect safety consideration caused by structure behavioral changes. The purpose of this study was to determine if the retrofit technique and device would improve the seismic response and seismic resistant capacity of the brick wall structure, with the buildings connected and joined together by consisting of different story levels.
Building retrofitting will result in six types of structure form of Street-house, such as the following:(1)single story with single story、(2)two stories with single story、(3) two stories with two stories、(4)three stories with single story、(5) three stories with two stories、and(6) three stories with three stories. Analyzing seismic response and seismic resistant ability evaluate the original model, retrofitting with steel structure, and retrofitting with energy dissipation device in ground floor, ground floor to second floor, and ground floor to third floor. The practicality of the proposed methodology is demonstrated through the ETABS software package analyzing the origin and the retrofitting models and evaluating if the installation site and the number of devices will affect the seismic response and the seismic resistant capacity of the brick wall structure.
According to the result of analysis,the the seismic response of original brick structure with different material wall combination, a floor wall construction materials from stone, brick, soil reaction order of replacement of the increasing trend of the earthquake, the seismic response control in displacement was observed., Retrofitting with steel structure can improve 67.1% ~ 93.1% on displacement control, adobe ,best combination of performance.
