Therefore, the purpose of this investigation was to create a model integration those antecedents and consequences of place attachment dimensions (i.e., place dependence, and place identity) among hikers in Yangmingshan National Park. Using LISREL software, results show that the place dependence is best predicted by destination attractiveness, accessibility and familiarity with destination, whereas the only predictor of place identity is the activity involvement. The destination loyalty and environmentally responsible behavior are significant consequence variables of place attachment.
