However, fish scale appeared in many studies recently, because of it is rich in collagen and the rise of environmental awareness in recent years. The collagen of fish scale belongs to type I collagen with low antigenicity, hemostatic, cell adaptation, cell proliferation, mechanical properties, biodegradability, biocompatibility and easy to assimilate. There is 14%-55% of the organic matter of the total weight and 38-46% of the inorganic matter of the total weight, the most abundant organic matter is protein, and it based on collagen and ichthylepidin with over 90% content of organic matter. Inorganic matter based on hydroxyapatite ( HAP ) [ Ca10(PO4)5(OH)2 ], it coated by fish scale collagen fibers. So far, most of the fish scale commercial products were mask, capsule, lotion and other beauty products. And it contained HAP can reinforce bone and lead to dental restoration materials. Most of the domestic and foreign related periodical studied aimed at extracting collagen. The related literature referred to multiplicity of fish scale, and the special structure of fish scale was not widely used yet. This study aims to use properties owned by fish scale, to produce a biodegradable bone screw/plate with good mechancial strength and toughness. In addition, the biocornea with transmittance, curvature and oxygen permeability were harvested by adjusting parameters, and it can be used as fill material for dentistry in the future. In this research, we use the process of removing attached skin, removing cells, cross linking, demineralization and acetic acid wash with Taiwan Tilapia fish scale. After that the mean thickness of the fish scale maintains at 0.3mm, the fish scale moisture content mean value at 61.42 % and the denature temperature of fish scale on DSC also does not have specially shifts. Implants the rabbit bone fracture using the fish scale tube also to have the preliminary result to be able in following to carry on the living specimen test observation.
