Summary: | 碩士 === 僑光科技大學 === 全球運籌管理研究所 === 98 === As the result of the transformation between guardian beliefs and the double pay family''s evolution, which causes a vigorous development in the supplementary class (so called cram school) industry. Facing the low birth rate impact as well as more and more guardians’ getting higher education, as a manager of the supplementary class, talent and skill class , how to attract guardian''s approval and how to increases the child’s desire to study…etc. these are all testing the manager’s business skills. In this research we take all the listed cram schools in Yunlin County as our object of study. We group them into different groups according to their business strategies, then analyze their management achievement and discuss the mobility barriers among these groups.
This research describes one by one using the descriptive analysis on the basic information and present management situation according to the actual sample distribution. Using the factor analysis to analyze the strategy variables and simplify them into two main factors and name them according to their characteristics, and using the technical indicator cluster analysis to differentiate the supplementary class into three groups. Using the Chi-square test to analyze the significant differences among data ,through ANOVA to understand the difference in each strategy results, and using correlated analysis to investigate the connection among the basic data, present management situation and the results, and then to investigate the relationship of mobility barriers among the groups.
Based on the analysis, this research divided the cram schools into three groups, the “service brand” group; the “enthusiastic expander” group and the “active adjuster” group. There are significant differences between each group under the business operating achievements. On average, group two the “enthusiastic expander” scores higher points in every result compared to the other two. Group one the “service brand” gets higher points in four results than then group three the “active adjuster”. There are some differences among these groups in basic data and present management situation. By Chi-square test , it is discovered that under seniority ; the new education level; the management state and the new teaching category, these four items has no remarkable difference. Among these groups, only the age and working hours pe day have great differences. It is also founded that, by Chi-square test investigate the resent management , there are significant differences among the advertising budget, the monthly turnover and the extra services. From the above, we now that group two the “ enthusiastic expander” performs best. Group one the “service brand” lays second, and group three the “active adjuster” is the poorest.
