Summary: | 碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 創意工程與精密科技研究所 === 98 === This study develops a machine tool with indexing function which can carry out semiautomatic ultrasonic rotary melting. This machine tool is developed by using the ultrasonic welding and the rotary melting methods. In addition, the finite element method was used in this study to simulate the vibration mode and optimal design of cascade-form ultrasonic head as the reference for developing the main system of the machine. The microstructure of the joint surface was obtained from experiment, and the control factors of this type of machine were obtained by using Taguchi Method.
The ANSYS finite element analysis software was used for analyzing and designing the ultrasonic head welding head based on the data provided by manufacturer. Convergence analysis was carried out for the cascade sonic welding head to find out the optimal lattice number, and ANSYS was used for optimizing the ultrasonic head welding head provided by the manufacturer for modal analysis. The results proved that the welding effect of the ultrasonic head designed by using ANSYS is better. Finally, the optimized ultrasonic welding head head was measured to check whether its resonance frequency meets the design under 20 kHz shock excitation. The result of practical modal measurement of ANSYS optimized ultrasonic head was similar to that of modal analysis using ANSYS.
The welding materials tested in this experiment were PE and PVC, the sonic welding head was cascade sonic welding head, the frequency was 20 kHz, and the output power of welding machine was set as 2200 W, the microstructure and welding effect were observed after welding.
