The present study concerns about the application of parallax barrier. When a Twist Nematic Parallax Barrier (TN Parallax Barrier) is put on the Thin-Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (TFT LCD), a display unit favorable for a 3D image watching is obtained.
To facilitate the lamination of TFT LCM and TN Parallax Barrier, a liquid optical adhesive is used as the binding agent. The adhesive is of a type that can be cured even if it is obstructed by a polarizer, and is surely able to pass relevant reliability test and luminance test.
A self-set up and simple lamination equipment is used in the present study. After the precision and the quality of the lamination are inspected against relevant requirements, process for a formal manufacture shall be developed.
