Women entrepreneurs have become a surge of global trends, creating the so-called " Womenomics " (Women Economics). It has made an impact on Taiwan Hakka women who are culturally characterized as simple conservative, frugal, perseverant, outwardly soft and inwardly hard, ingenious, and etc. What are their characteristics in business? This study uses Hakka female entrepreneurs as the subject and subsumes ethnicity and gender into the research, in order to enrich the domestic relevant Hakka entrepreneurship research. Hopefully, it will enhance Hakka females in the Hakka ethnic group or business research. The research methods I use are text analysis and in-depth interviews with 10 successful Hakka women entrepreneurs. The results are found as follows: Hakka women entrepreneurs as well as the women in other ethnic groups are providing services and in non-labor production of the tertiary industry. Motivations are primarily the family business, family factors, followed by business opportunities found in the market. And their entrepreneurial opportunities are mainly from personal experiences, expertise, technology and resources, and trends of market supply and demand environment. Hakka women entrepreneurs value corporate brand image, quality, integrity, customers, word of mouth marketing, interpersonal skills and harmony of the companies. In addition, they onsider using the same language as the interactive company can achieve better communication with them. On the other hand, Hakka women entrepreneurs are deeply inspired by the stiff neck (determined) spirit. They are confident, trifty and hardworking, and they do things seriously and endure hardships. Furthermore, they plan before they act. Even though Hakka’s tradition tends to allocate more resources to men, Hakka women entrepreneurs do not feel aggrieved or unfair. They possess global vision, and their financial management is more prudent and conservative. They are most likely engaged in family business. Most Hakka female entrepreneurs continue traditional Hakka patriarchal thinking which include respecting their husbands and supporting them to complete the dream as possible as they can. Most of the couples work together to in a self-employed business. Authority is very clear and everyone has his/her merits. Women contribute greatly and are respected by their husband. Generally, they are supported and encouraged by family members, relatives and friends. Unlike the old tradition, their husbands share part of the housework in the house. Gender mainstreaming in the Hakka community has begun to sprout. Hakka women entrepreneurs take the business philosophy of "taking from the community, reporting back to the society." They are concerned with disadvantaged groups, and they engage in public philanthropy.
