Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄大學 === 政治法律學系碩士班 === 98 === The topic of this essay is about the idea of “Taiwanese Identity” and its effect on the development of politics in postwar Taiwan. The main theme is to analyze, in light of Taiwanese Nationalism, how “Taiwanese Identity” are formed and changed under different historical backgrounds and regimes. As an ideology and a feature of political culture, “Taiwanese Identity” has been affecting the structure of postwar Taiwanese politics deeply. We research its effect on Taiwanese Politics and the elections, and point out the role of democratization and localization in the change of “Taiwanese Identity.” Furthermore, we record the transformation of China’s image and analyze dynamics brought by emerging of Chinese Economy so as to dialect between Identity of China and Taiwan.
