Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 98 === Scientists try to find out the source and solutions to against Global warming & Greenhouse effect, in order to slow down the current global situation and to prevent the continued deterioration of CO2. So, the warming-resistant studies came out gradually. The highest percentage of the atmosphere gas is carbon dioxide which has been confirmed that human activities lead to its increasing. Therefore, how to control the production of carbon dioxide effectively has been considered as the most important issue in advanced countries. This study attempts to find out the relationship between the reasonable carbon dioxide fixation amount per year and the photosynthesis rate of herbaceous plant. And the relationship between the reasonable carbon dioxide deterioration amount per year and the construction of a retaining wall. Finally compare the construction cost of a gravity wall, cantilever wall and geosynthetics reinforced wall. So, the green principle may be considered in engineering designs and construction stages to reach the win-win concept for both the number one safety and the sustainable management. Both the total construction cost and the carbon dioxide deterioration amount per year of geosynthetics reinforced wall are found the best one in three different retaining walls in this study. The average carbon dioxide deterioration amount per day is about a half of the maximum carbon dioxide deterioration amount is also obtained. Once it was transferred to reasonable carbon dioxide deterioration amount per day, we could estimate the contribution of a geosynthetics reinforced retaining wall in carbon dioxide fixation amount per year.
