The driver model is constructed using the model predictive control technique to emulate the driving characteristics for normal drivers. An adaptive predictive control driver model is also constructed to represent the change in driving behavior due to the variations in the control process. The developed models are verified by comparing the simulation results with the experimental data collected from human drivers.
