Further efforts are done on checking if the main components meet the design or work requirements and also refining the structure in order to enhance performance. This project is funded by a domestic company (hereinafter referred as Company A) to evaluate a novel universal coupling-embedded-ball type coupling. Stress analysis by finite element method and Kinematic analysis by CAE method are performed to simulate the working condition. In this paper, three-dimensional modeling by Solid Works and then to Cosmos works with Cosmos Motion are employed to execute finite element analysis and kinematic analysis. The refined structure successfully avoid running interference problem under 30 degree of axis angle transmission. The output velocity was found varied periodically that prohibit the product from high speed transmission. The appropriate chamfer of corners reduce the highest stress effectively.
