After removing solvent and degrassing under reduced pressure and the subsequent photo-exposing (λmax : 420 nm), the respective mixtures underwent photopolymerization to afford GT/TS (G-type), EEC/ES (E-type), and IPN-structured GT/TS-EEC/ES (I-type) types of organic-inorganic nano-hybridized dental restorative materials. The conversion of the methacryloyl and 3,4-epoxylcyclohexyl groups after UV exposure and the volume shrinkage of the hybrid during polymerization was assessed by FT-IR spectoscopy and pycnometer, respectively. The hardness, compression strength and thermal stability of the restorative materials were measured and investigated by Durometer, Tensile Tester and TGA.
