Traditionally, we would manually switch curtains for shading and privacy. It’s an inconvenience that we adjust the curtain based on different illumination. For example, we draw the curtain in sunny day, but the curtain would be undrawn in cloudy day. The main purpose of this study is that the electrical curtain could be adjusted by itself to settle the indoor brightness based on current weather. The considerations about the design of electrical curtain are simple, practical, safe, and user-friendly, therefore we control electrical curtain with infrared ray technology. The system uses NEC encoding to transmit infrared ray during communicated process. At first, signal transmission is accomplished with the encoding IC (PT-2221) and infrared ray transmission IC. Then the receipt module (SG-2BC) and the decoding program decode the signal. Finally, the driving chip (Microchip) applies Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to control the speed and direction of the DC motor. The electrical curtain based on Fuzzy Theory could adjust the DC motor and the light detector to maintain stable brightness so that users don’t need the remoter. In the end, the experiment results show that the electrical curtain could switch automatically for illumination monitoring via Fuzzy Theory. Shih-Hsuan Chiu 邱士軒 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 102 zh-TW
